Dalton 61

Wow, the more athletic and bigger Lady Dawgs seemingly could not miss from the floor while once again we simply struggled to put the ball in the hole leading to a very lopsided loss. We did not execute against the early pressure and seemed a step slow at both ends of the floor for most of the contest.

Quarter scores: 2-23, 1-18, 6-11, and 0-9. From the floor we were 3/29, 10% and were limited to 1/6 from the line. In the opening period we turned the ball over 8 of our 16 possessions and finished the game with 20 TO’s.

Kelly led the team in scoring with 6.

The JV team improved offensively in losing 15-48.

It is difficult to find anything positive from this game – we seemed completely over-matched and did not play to our ability and potential. The only good news is that we can quickly put this game behind us as we are on the court again Thursday versus Malvern.
